Viking - Orion
- OVERVIEW : This voyage was our first time cruising since COVID 19 put a stop to everyone’s travel plans. The protocols for flights and Bermuda Travel requirements were complicated but necessary. We chose this ship as it offered enhanced protocols, including daily onboard testing & electronic contact tracing. This made us feel very comfortable and it was all worth it to be at sea again.
- POSITIVES : This was also our first Viking ocean cruise and we were not disappointed. The ship, accommodations, dining, inclusions and service were outstanding. The ship was sailing at only 50% capacity which made for a very relaxing voyage.
- NEGATIVES : If you like big broadway shows and casinos, then this is not the ship for you. However, we really enjoyed the smaller venues, enrichment lectures and talented musicians.
