The Emerald Princess
- OVERVIEW : This was a very enjoyable trip. The ship, accommodations, service and itinerary were all terrific. It is a lovely ship with some great venues ranging from quiet intimate lounges to stunning nightclubs. They had one show in particular which was probably the best we’ve ever experienced onboard a ship. It’s the only time I recall watching a show twice in a row.
- POSITIVES : During this cruise, the captain and crew had to handle the death of Queen Elizabeth. It was amazing how well they managed the situation – very moving and so respectful. This was not an easy task as the majority of the crew, entertainers and passengers were British.
- NEGATIVES : We booked two of our excursions directly with Princess and both fell well below expectations. They did not live up to the descriptions at all. Princess needs to revisit their 3rd party affiliate offerings.
