Cunard - Queen Mary II
- OVERVIEW : We were very excited to be sailing aboard the Queen Mary II. We had heard and read so many reviews of this grand ship. To those who have sailed her, this is considered a crossing; not a sailing. The QM2 is the only ship at sea specifically designed for an ocean voyage. No matter how rough the seas, the sailing is incredibly smooth.
- POSITIVES : The service, dining and venues were all wonderful and we enjoyed each day; even without any ports. They have several gala and themed evenings, so there is no shortage of gowns, tuxedos and costumes.
- NEGATIVES : The ship is in desperate need of a face-lift showing many areas of wear and tear.
