Norwegian - Breakaway
- OVERVIEW : Breakaway, and its sister ship Getaway, were the ships that won us back to Norwegian. The innovative waterfront design, Howl At The Moon duelling piano bar and the best thermal suite at sea were real winners for us.
- POSITIVES : This was the first time we experienced the gated community concept called The Haven. With its concierge service, dedicated dining, bar and pool area it truly felt like a ship within a ship. The white glove treatment included priority embarkation, show seating and tender access.
- NEGATIVES : This ship has the least space per passenger of any NCL ship; although the design helps mitigate this as it doesn’t feel crowded.
